Pinterest & Pokemon

Hello Again! I was looking at some of my pins on Pinterest and came across an uber kawaii picture of Jigglypuff that I had pinned a while back that was too perfect for this blog. It also reminded me of this silly argument I had with my fiancé yesterday, who got mad at me because I couldn't remember some of the original 150 Pokemon's names or what some of them evolved into. He jokingly told me he didn't know how this relationship was going to work, so I'm dedicating this post to him. ;)
I came across some more kawaii Pokemon artwork and decided to add these as well. I also have lots more kawaii stuff for you all to see, follow my kawaii pins Pinterest. Lastly, I am looking for Etsy shops that sell super kawaii items to feature on my blog. If you have a kawaii Etsy shop, know someone who does, or want to recommend one, please let me know by commenting on this post. Thanks!

The Secret World of Arrietty

If any of you have read the book, The Borrowers, The Secret World of Arrietty is Ghibli Studios version of the story. Anyway what I wanted to post about was the all elusive Arrietty hair clip that came with only a select amount of Limited Edition Japanese blu ray versions.
I call the hair clip elusive because it is no where to be found online to be purchased. The blu ray is no longer available and no one is selling the item separately. I couldn't even believe that no one was selling the one they got from the blu ray on Ebay! Lol. This hair clip is so cute and would be absolutely perfect for an Arrietty costume. Damn you Ghibli Studios! I guess this is to be expected though, since Japan is notorious for putting out limited edition everything making you want to buy, buy, buy and it doesn't help when it is all so super cute! If any of you know where to get one, please let me know. I would get this thing in a heartbeat. :D

kawaii kuteness on Project Runway!!

I had to post this dress I saw recently when I was watching Project Runway Season 10 on my computer. It was only on for about two seconds and used as a transition piece from commercial to show. Since I thought it was super kawaii for something shown on Project Runway, I had to do a screen grab of the dress to show all of you kawaii lovers out there. If anyone knows who designed this dress, please let me know so I can give due credit and props for such a kawaii design!

Welcome!

Hello Everyone and Welcome to my blog, Kawaii Kuteness! I will be posting all things kawaii on this blog for all my fellow cuteness lovers out there to share and enjoy. Let me first introduce myself. My name is Drea DiMassa and I am a fashion designer. The line I created is called Killer Kutie Kouture and is focused more towards a children-junior customer.
My inspiration for my designs are drawn from retro/vintage pieces, as well as, the super cute whimsical styles from the streets of Harajuku. Although, I mostly design for children and teens. I have been working hard on designs for a new, more sophisticated collection for women that still draws from my favorite inspirations. As I work on putting the collection together, I am sure I will post pictures on the blog. Besides being a new designer, I am also a new mom to a 7 week old little girl. To me she is definitely the most kawaii thing I've seen in my entire life..lol.
Anyway, I hope you follow my blog and enjoy as there are a lot more things to come, including some giveaways in the near future! If you have any suggestions for sites or items for me to share that meet the "Kawaii Kuteness" criteria feel free to drop me a line, so I can post it here.
